Merit Badge Introduction Workshop & Den Chief Training

Held at Brooklawn Middle School in Parsippany.
Located on Beachwood Road at the intersection with Route 202.

Check-in begins at 8:00 am in the Cafeteria.

A Separate Registration must be completed for each Scout.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail indicating if you received your first or second choices.

· $10 for each registration
· $4 for each 1 hour session (per Scout)
·
$8 each 2-session class: Citizenship in the Nation/World, Disabilities Awareness, Electricity, Engineering, Environmental Science, Fire Safety, Robotics and Space Exploration.
· Den Chief Training Class - No additional charge but Must Register
· Trail to Eagle – No additional charge but Must Register
· Eagle Project Management – No additional charge but Must Register**

**Introductory Project Management skills presented to Eagle Scout candidates preparing for their Service Project.  Using concepts in the Project Management Institute Body of Knowledge and Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook, the purpose of the training session is for Scouts to learn how to develop a clear plan to accomplish their project goal.

Offered continuously between 10 AM and 12 Noon

  • Each Scout MUST bring a blue card signed by his Scoutmaster for each Merit Badge
  • Each Scout MUST bring the CURRENT Merit Badge Book or the Internet printout for each badge
  • Each Scout MUST read and be familiar with the MB requirements before going to the class
  • Each Scout MUST wear their Class A uniform
  • A responsible adult MUST sign in each Scout in person at the registration table

The purpose of the Workshop is to introduce badges to the Scouts and to help them understand the Merit Badge process.     for most of the Merit BADGES SCOUTS will be able to obtain a “Partial” but will not be able to complete the Merit Badge at this event.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds: Individuals or groups that cancel a program reservation 30 days prior to the date of the event will receive a refund of fees paid, less a 15% administrative charge. No refunds will be made after the 30 day cancellation deadline, unless there is a medical or other emergency.
